Smokey Bear is a 13 month old male Husky/Malamute mix who is very sweet, good with children and other dogs, but we are not sure about cats. He is a beautiful dog!!

Geordi is a 2 year old male Anatolian Shepherd and Standard poodle mix. He is smart, energetic and goofy! He loves a good hike and to play ball. He still needs some work with training so he will do best with an experienced dog person. He loves to play with other dogs his size but has never had to share a home with one before. He loves humans of all sizes and gets attached easily. He is well behaved and a sweetheart who is great with children. Geordi is neutered and weighs about 100 lbs. Tyson is a male 1.5 year old Lab/German Shepherd mix. He is great with children and other dogs. Tyson is shy at first but warms up quickly. He loves to go on walks and play in the back yard! Meet Zeus! Zeus is a 5 year old male Great Pyrenees. He is an active boy and will need a home where he can stretch his legs. He is good with older children and bigger dogs. Sadie was found on the streets and brought to us. A wonderful couple agreed to foster her. Sadie was frightened and reactive to most new things but they worked with her to give her the confidence she needed. When it came time to put her up for adoption, they couldn't do it so Sadie will stay with them and the comfortable home they have provided for her. Thank you for giving Sadie this chance!

JJ is a 19 month old male boxer who is 75 lbs., neutered and up to date on shots. He is 1/2 European and 1/2 American boxer with AKC paperwork. JJ is brindled in color and has had training, but he still loves to jump up (as boxers do). He gets along well with other dogs. Because of the jumping he may not be appropriate for small children.

Milo is a 9 month old Havanese male that is an active, energetic, playful pup who is crate and potty trained and is pretty good on the leash. He is very affectionate and so small he is easy to hold and will sleep right on top of you like a baby while you are watching TV. He sleeps in his crate at night. He is hypoallergenic, loves to take walks and be outside. He is electric fence trained and he loves to run around the house and can ring a bell on the floor when he wants to go out.

Bosco's owner needed to leave her home and could not take him with her. Cathy and her family, all avid Royce's Rescue supporters, stepped right in to give Bosco a home. Cathy's daily walks have helped him get back in shape and loose the extra weight to get him healthy again. Bosco is thriving in his new home.

He will wrap his front legs around you and bury his head in your armpit, making you feel very loved 🥰 This quality makes him very special. In addition, Sonny is fully trained on and off-leash. He is a healthy, happy boy who deserves to be loved and cared for in a home. Sonny was raised in a home and is house trained and crate trained. We are looking to place him in a home where he can be the center of attention and get as much love as he gives. That being said he is a Malinois and would do best in a home that has no other dogs and no young children. Guinness was adopted by a wonderful couple who lost their dog 6 months ago and were ready for a new fur baby. Guinness has already been to the vet and has been enrolled in training classes. A LUCKY DOG FINDS HIS FOREVER HOME!
A wonderful young man named Steve found this handsome boy roaming the streets. He took him to VSEC to see if he was microchiped and try to find his owners. The microchip was there but no one came forward to claim this beautiful guy. Steve decided to adopt him! Royce’s Rescue worked together with VSEC to make it possible. Steve hasn’t decided on a name for him yet but this dog is one lucky boy!

A family in the city adopted adorable Roscoe when he was a puppy 9 months ago. He became fearful of the loud noises and traffic in the city and the family is looking for someone with a quieter environment and a big back yard to adopt him. He is high energy and loves to run! He is a Plott Hound, 25 pounds, neutered, up to date on shots and is house trained and crate trained. He is very well behaved (knows commands like sit, down, off, etc.), affectionate, loves other dogs, but has never met a cat. Roscoe is fearful of new people and children, and will hide and shake when they come around. His best home will be with someone who is willing to give him a few days so he can get to know you, and can help him with his fear issues. He loves to snuggle up with you at bedtime!

BEARONESS "BEAR"
Bearoness "Bear" is a 2 year old yellow lab born with lower eyelid entropion and agenesis. She has had surgery to correct it. She lived in a kennel until coming to us so she has not had a lot of human contact and is shy and timid. She is very sweet and needs a special home. She is smaller than most labs her age but well bred and has all of her papers.

Meet Stella! Stella is a wonderful eight month old female terrier mix. She is 25 pounds, housebroken, well behaved and very sweet. Stella has health insurance and is up-to-date on all vaccines. Her current owners have agreed to pay all expenses for her spaying.
Although her current owners can't keep her any longer, it is a problem with their living situation, not any fault of Stella's. Stella loves everyone!

When Milo's owners could no longer keep him, Donna J. stepped in and said she would love to have him. He is much like the Cock-A-Poo she lost 2 years ago and she is quite familiar with the breed and their behavior. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME FOR MILO!!
Milo is a 4 year old Cock-A-Poo who is looking for a new home. He is up to date on all his shots, neutered, chipped and ready to go. His current family describes him as loyal, loving and affectionate.
HIS STORY: Milo spent the first part of his life at a breeder in South Jersey where his family believe he was mishandled and kept near loud noises that scared him. As a result, he is afraid of any loud noises and will hide or won't go outside if the trash truck or a lawn mower are outside. He will accidentally tinkle if someone he doesn't know reaches for him. In a word, he is anxious.
Milo peacefully coexists with other dogs. The family doesn't know how he would be with cats. He loves to sit in your lap and cuddle, he loves car rides and he loves to sing!
They feel that the best place for him is with a family in a quiet setting where he gets lots of one-on-one time. They think older children would be fine, but don't recommend young children because the noise and high activity is upsetting to Milo.
OLIVER
WE FOUND OLIVER THE PERFECT HOME!!
Oliver, our Golden Retriever, has been placed in a wonderful home with Tim and his wife. Tim is an ex-firefighter who is recovering from PTSD at home. He has worked extensively with Golden’s, as a trainer, owner, and at a Golden Rescue. He is very familiar with Golden behavior and will be able to work extensively with Oliver to help him get to a healthy weight and learn to be responsive to commands. The fenced yard will be a big help! The couple does not have other pets to interfere with Oliver’s training. We feel they are truly a match and we wish them all the love and happiness they can give each other.

Oliver is a purebred, 80 pound Golden Retriever who is looking for the perfect home. He is 2 years old, neutered, up to date on all his shots and is ready to go. He is great with people, and very loving but he does not do well with smaller dogs. He loves to play fetch, is a napping enthusiast and makes an excellent cuddle buddy, according to his current owner.

Willow is a 4 year old full-bred bloodhound. She is good with other dogs, cats, and children. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Willow weighs 112 lbs. She is very smart and always happy, wagging her tail constantly!
POLLY

Polly came to us 2 months ago after roaming the streets in Quarryville PA. She was infested with fleas and ticks. A vet exam concluded she suffers from Lyme nephritis, a condition due to prolonged untreated Lyme disease. Polly has 25% kidney function due to this condition. That does not hold her back. She is active and alert and would do best with someone who can pamper her all day. She LOVES people and will attach herself quickly to you. Polly is about 5 years old and weighs almost 6 lbs.
